Jenny & Peter - Wedding

This classic 2 tiered square wedding cake with offset tiers was made for Peter & Jenny who held their reception at a venue in Stanwell Tops overlooking the water. Jenny and Peter were a lovely couple who had their minds set on chocolate mud cake until they tasted my other flavours! They decicided to stick to their decision of chocolate mud, and also offered their guests caramel mud cake to enjoy.
The oriental sugar lillies were made by me and make an elegant statement cascading down the cake.
Congratulations Peter & Jenny.

Customer Testimonial
"Hi Cherrie,
Just wanted to let you know the cake looked amazing, thank you so much.
Neither Pete or myself actually got to eat any (we just didn’t have time to sit down- we were having way too much fun).  In saying that I know that everyone mentioned how delightful it was.
So thanks again.
Jenny"

Carlicia & Matt Wedding

My beautiful friend Carlicia and the love of her life Matt were wed in style at Ecco Ristorante in Drummoyne. The family and friend filled affair was amazing!
Carlicia has always loved my white chocolate mud cake and also suggested chocolate mud cake to give her guests some variety.
The red, white and black themed cake was adorned with crystals (non edible) for that extra touch of bling, and the bride and groom toppers were handmade by me.
Wishing you a lifetime of happiness Carlicia & Matt.

Congratulations Carly & Stefan - Wedding

The brief for this cake was traditional, feminine and elegant. The bride and grooms theme was ivory, lavender, gold and lace and they insisted on there being no rolled fondant icing on the cake.
The bottom tier is carrot cake with vanilla bean syrup, the middle tier orange and poppyseed cake with orange blossom syrup and the top tier caramel mud cake. The entire cake is covered with white chocolate ganache in a rough finish.
Lisianthus and lavender cascade down the cake - flowers supplied by Annettes Florist of Moss Vale.
Bride and Groom topper with dog supplied by the bride.
Cake serves 90 dessert portions/160 finger portions.

The reception for this wedding was held at Southern Highland Winery, Sutton Forest. The venue was exceptional and really suited the style of wedding.

Congratulations Carly & Stefan

Baby Blocks Christening Cake - Sienna

This round single tiered cake is covered with white rolled fondant, with bright pink organza ribbon to the base. All of my cake boards are covered in rolled fondant unless otherwise stated, as I like the way this finishes off the cakes.
The baby blocks are made from sugar paste, with fresh gerberas, organza butterflies on wires and a keepsake baby jewel box.
Cake serves 35 dessert portions/60 finger portions.

Emerson's 3rd Birthday - Pink Ballerina Chocolate mud cake

This single tier round chocolate mud cake is decorated with butterflies and blossoms, with sprinkles of edible pink glitter. The cake is completely edible, being decorated with rolled fondant and sugar paste.
The ballerina mouse was my first and remains my favourite. I love how her face tells a very happy story!
Serves 30 dessert portions.

Caitlin's 3rd Birthday - Fairy Toadstool Cake

This adorable little 3 year old wanted a fairy cake to go with her fairy themed party. The ballerina mouse made from sugar paste comes up here again, with matching tutu and edible glitter sprinkled over. The cake itself is a rainbow butter cake covered with white chocolate ganache and then rolled fondant icing. The cake serves 25-30 people.
Some cupcakes made for the adults for after the 'kids' party - buttercups with vanilla bean buttercream

Christening Cake for Tegan

This chocolate mud cake was created for little Tegan. Tegan's Mum asked for a cake that would be suitable for a 2 year old being christened, and requested purple and silver in the detail. The ballerina mouse is modelled from sugar paste and has been very popular with little girls.
